# Add emojis to spice up messages

Did you know that the [human brain read and react the same way](https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/17470919.2013.873737?journalCode=psns20#.Uv0F-EJdW52) to an emoji as it does to a person’s face? 😳 Thanks to this, emojis can minimize the “expressional” gap between text and real-life communication. So feel free to use them in your messages! We recommend putting them at the beginning or the end of sentences, not in the middle of them. 😉

To bring up all the available emojis while typing, use the following keyboard shortcuts:

🍎Mac: ctrl + cmd + space

🏠Windows: Windows logo key + space
